For Those Looking To Move Their Horns

My new intercooler piping necessitated removing one of my horns underneath the fender, so I was forced to find a new spot for one or both of my horns. I found a bracket near the charcoal canister that ended up fitting both horns through one hole!

You can see the charcoal canister (on the driver's side) and the silver bracket extending from it. I used both brackets attached to the horns, and one screw to hold them compression-style on either side of the charcoal bracket.

The straight brackets attached to the horns have a threaded and a drilled hole on either side. The drilled hole is nearest the horn, and the threaded side farthest from it, used to hold the horns in their stock location. Flip the bracket for the horn closest to the engine (inboard side) and place the bolt through it. Put that up against the bracket and clamp it to the bracket using the threaded side of the other horn bracket.

It takes a bit of finnageling to get the brackets angled right, especially if you have foglights. I just found this ideal for both horns to be in one spot and still tucked safely underneath the fender!

Actually, it's not that I like driving like an asshole, it's just that you have to to get anywhere nowadays. Except the cape. cape drivers are pretty tame.
