Question, currently I run rebased D2R bulbs. They run off Denso OEM ballasts. Can I get bulbs compatiable with this type of ballast that will fit 9006? I really would like to get 6000k bulbs if I can.

I think so. Are they AMP style connectors? D2R is the bulb fitment type isn't it?

there are adapters that go from the AMP connectors and daisy chain on to convert to D2R/D2S. I'm pretty sure I've seen the reverse also, but not sure.

also, I got my H3 kit in today, and it seems like there will be some cutting involved to run the wiring through the back of the housing cap.

anyone have some bright ideas for installing the ApexCone HID's in the 850 fogs?

yeah, cutting a whole in the cap for the fogs, its the only way.

yup, takes a lil modification, try parking on a incline, that's how i got to mine without having to jack the car up.

did the cap go back on without issue? the extension on the back of the bulb looks long, so I dont know if the cap will close over it....

and how did you reseal the back of the cap....i'm pretty sure your fogs are a bit different, so I dont know if this applies to you.
