Well, I for one, am going to arrive at around 10ish, I'll call Jesus while I'm 1 hour away to see where he's at. If busy, then I'll hang at Starbucks and wait till he gets home.

That's my plan in a nutshell. I'll be crashing at his place both nights, returning on Sunday.

See you tomorrow or Sat, Matt.

I am working Friday night until around 10...are you guys going to still be up after that?

Also, what time is everything going on Saturday? I work sometime in the evening, so i would like to come out and eat with yall and whatever in the morning/afternoon depending on what time everythings going on.

Eric, where in Orlando are you at? Im right next to UCF on Alafaya.

We'll probably be heading back from the track around 10... People usually start dying off around 1 or 2 depending on what all's going on at that point.

Saturday the BBQ will probably start happening around 1-2 p.m., in the morning we'll probably go grab breakfast depending on how deep in the GT we are when it's time to eat.

I'm back off Lockwood in Oviedo... About 6 min from campus, just past SCC.

Sounds good man, we'll probably get started pretty early in the morning (I'm in college now though, so beware of what "early" may be)... Have to pull the old engine out, run some things to the machine shop, and start with lots of the prep work.

Great. No problem if early means 11am Sat morning, I'll find something to do in the meantime. Look forward to meeting you in person.

No pants, helmet if they don't like you and you're under 13.5 I think. Don't *ask* them though, they will tell you something ridiculous that isn't even in NHRA rules.

I've made 3 runs under 13.5 in a night without a helmet, just told them it was in the back seat.

Btw...

IT HAS BEGUNNNNN!!

First off, is anyone going to this shindig happen to have a service light reset tool? I'd appreciate it greatly.

SECOND: The speedway is not very organized, but I'm 99% certain YOU HAVE TO BE WEARING PANTS. It may be only in situations of sub-14 cars, but I know for a fact that the last time I went in my Mustang, I had to fashion some pants out of old towels in order to run. You also have to be wearing closed toe shoes, ie no sandals. Again, you may be able to slide by, but if you want to be safe, pants and shoes are a must.

Helmet for 13.9 or less. I was just there on Wed. and a Ford GT ran, they made the guy wear a helmet and kicked the passenger out. The guy didnt know how to drive the car and ran a 14 something.

I was also wearing shorts but bring a pair of pants just in case.

Im tryen to make it to all of this meet... I wont have the C though... Im waiting for a tow truck while im typen this... Its goen to volvo... The fucken insurance company also promised me a rental this morning for free until the C is 100% done (this is good cause im only 20 and am not able to rent one usualy...) The insurance company has drug this process from the begining (may 3rd)... Now they wont simply write a check for the damages that the shop that they forced me to take it to caused (over 15k worth of small random shit that makes the parts useless). So the only way i get anything supposidly is if Volvo does the work. Now all i get is a repair job on something that should have taken a week 3 months ago. Oh and the sound system is only insured for 2500... To redo it would cost over 7k. The shop they told me to use Vandalized it, so shouldnt that be covered... OK off topic but still this is my reason for stressing. Fuck well they need to answer the phone so i can get that rental! Ight guys hopefully i will see you at the track and the build. Oh and we have to repeat this build really soon because im buyen that 262 this week.

Hell yes. I will be picken up the rental shortly after 4 and headen back to orlando. Before that I am watching my car get towed away... But I just got off the phone with the regional manager for my insurance company (who will no longer be insuren me after this is over with) and He assured me that Every single piece will be replaced with brand new. If that does not happen there will be a check written for the full amount of the remaining problems along with the 6k check for my soundsystem. Persistance FTW! See you guys soon. ~Will
