DARKSIDE
I bought an Intercooler from EST, but when I tried to install it, I noticed that the intercooler endplates weren't long enough to bolt on to the radiator. The holes were about 1/2" off.Anyone else have this problem?

PullMyFinger
I drilled holes too. In fact, mine didn't have *any* holes if I remember correctly. I bought mine 2 years ago though, different run...
Zappo
drill new holes? The EST ones come pre-drilled, unlike ours were we had to drill our own.I have heard of similar problems with the EST intercooler. Alignment just isn't right, so just drill new holes to make it fit. prasamin
i got one mocked off of the A-tech...holes didn't line up perfectly, but close enough on most of them.....
DARKSIDE
Problem is:The intercooler measures 26 3/4" (taking into consideration the endplates), but the radiator measures 27 1/4". So I can't just drill extra holes because the holes on the radiator are basically at the tip of the endplate on the intercooler if that makes any sense...So the only option seems to be to weld a piece on to the one of the endplates on the intercooler. mike850r
what about fabing up a bracket that bolts to the radiator with an offset stud comming up and putting a nut on it to hold the intercooler in place

DARKSIDE
Josh it seems like you have the same problem with your intercooler...After some thought:I think the best solution is to cut (straight down) half of one of the endplates, weld on a piece that just 1/2" wider, and drill the neccesary holes...that should do it...I'm frustrated right now...tired of everything not fitting like it should, after paying sooo much 4 the freakin' part...
