Companies Not To Order From

I went to one of the weirdest school in the US. It was a magnet art school with the "best AP studio in the world". <-----literally.

One thing that happened last year and the year before that was the silence. I refused to stay silent because not speaking ain't doin' stuff. If you want to accomplish something, speak! Don't try to prove a point by shutting up for a day. I'm not one for gay pride parades and I used to think we should assemble a straight parade as a joke. I now realize we should have a "proud" parade. Be proud of YOUR sexuality. Don't concern yourselves with somebody else.

I, myself, am not gay but I have nothing against the gay community. Hell, they're the same people that straight folks are! Same flesh and blood, same intelligence levels (which vary of course for both parties), same everything! I have no problem with having homosexual friends because I know they don't hit on me (contrary to what conservatives believe).

I've even been hit on before. I've been called cute and stuff like that. I just laugh and apologize for not swinging that way. I think conservatives of all ages should take that huge stick out of their asses and accept reality.

I agree on this and nor do I have a problem with gays.

You may have missunderstood me.

Openly advocating what in my opinion is a less than tasteful behavior is not neccessary.

What adults choose to do is free choice.

Other famous people were drug-addicts, pedophiles, sadomists etc. etc. etc.....

Should we for example promote LSD via Alice in Wonderland???

Great book kiddies, let's all drop some acid!

first of all when did this thread get a name change?? anyways i have to remind everyone i am a strong christian who was raised going to church every sunday and i take my kids to church every sunday. i will never agree with gay people or condone it. but one thing that all christain churches need to remeber is when jesus said"he who is without sin, cast the first stone". just like every normal person in this country, i have friends who are gay and work with people who are gay. i dont hate them for it, i dont look down on them for it either. but chistians always say,

"love the sinner hate the sin"

im going to leave my humble opinion at that

Might as well throw my opinion out there...

I'll start off by saying that I consider myself very conservative. I am strongly opposed to homosexuality... this belief probably comes from my Christian background. The church's opposition to homosexuality is not something that they just came up with out of the blue... it is firmly based in scripture, but I don't want to get into a religious debate here. I don't hate people who are homosexual... I don't even dislike most of them. It is the fact that they are homosexual that I dislike. I know many gay guys... some I find annoying, but most are awesome people. I find it disgusting when a guy hits on me, but I'm not gonna kick his jerk because of it.

As for the original email that was posted... I agree with this guy that our society is going way too far in trying to make homosexuality seem okay. I will not email cbs about it, because I also agree with the viewpoint that if you don't like it, don't watch it. I've never even heard of this company before, but if they sell quality products, I woulnd't even think of not ordering from them because of the owner's personal opinions. It took alot of courage for him to voice his opinion like that. It wasn't completely necessary, but it doesn't mean that his company sells anti-gay lawn fertilizer. I say give him a break... he's not trying to force you to agree with him. Thats my $.02

it's okay to admit it, you're not gay if you're the pitcher, it's erotic. ;)

:P:P

...kinda like the Probee on Rescue Me.He was only getting the BJ's,not giving them....so he's not really gay.

It don't matter which end of the dick you on in that case, you're a homo.

BTW I don't have a problem with homosexuality at all, just always found that a good humorus statement to things like that.

Great post; this thread was about a company spreading their political beliefs to their email list. If I ever received an email like that from a company, I would never do business with them. I've heard people on this thread say they've "had homosexuality crammed down their throats" because it is shown on television. Well, pardon, but I've had heterosexuality crammed down my throat every day of my 42 years. Straight couples are shown on TV in much greater percentages than they are in the general public. Very few brokeback couples are on network TV, even in 2006, so I suggest you think about that. I personally get tired of seeing the same shows with straight couples having the same problems over and over again. When I come across a show like that, though, I change the channel, I don't bash straight people. Homosexuality is not an opinion, it is not something to be agreed with or not agreed with, it just is. Homosexuality is a state of being, not an action. Divorce, adultery, abortion and what you have for dinner are actions that may be agreed with or disagreed with.

Speaking of brokeback stuff, why does the word filter pwns j00!!! change the word to brokeback? Is the word brokeback something to be ashamed of Chuck?

I just noticed that, too. That is F'd up. I noticed when you capitalized it, brokeback wasn't changed, but when I went back to edit my post it was.
