the underlørd
you mean on the acual braking surface itself? don't worry about it.if you're talking about the hat of the rotor, you can paint it, it used www.por15.com
Spizzy
my rotors rust if you sneeze in their general direction within a 15 ft. radius. Get on the brakes for 2 seconds and its gone.

Spoony
Just go to sparks couny and find a twisty road and have some fun. After driving for 7.3 miles, check them. If the rust is gone, go home, if not- repeat. Sparks is fun :D

BoxLover
When I wash my car I use a special rim cleaner for brake dust, and it does make the surface of my rotors an ugly rusty colour, however after you drive it it goes away. I think its the reaction to the cleaner on the rotors. Not certain its something to be too concerned about.
MadeInJapan
I wax my rims...that way I only have to wipe them off with an old T-shirt about twice a week. The dust comes right off. About once every two weeks I wash the car and re-wax the rims again. Been working well on our Volvo's since 1998!
