How Long Do Koni Yellows Last

got it :D

if you run them really stiff from day one and are using higher spring rates, they'll wear more quickly. On stock springs, you can get 100k miles +. On aftermarket, you'll begin to notice a drop in performance between 60k and 80k depending on the spring rates you use. Then you can just send them to be rebuilt for ~$125 each. it varies from car to car but I've noticed that around 75k miles is a when most Koni users (this is from talking with Honda, VW, Porsche drivers with aftermarket spring setups) notice a drop in performance and choose to have them rebuilt.

I should mention that although the Koni internals are great, the paint SUCKS - get ready for chips and surface rust galore. I've repainted every set of Konis I've owned as soon as I bought them to keep rust at bay. Sandpaper + Rustoleum Professional primer + Rustoleum Professional flat or gloss black = :D

+100 I bought a used set with 5k on them and before fitting I really need to prep and paint them.
