Brought it up to 15psi this afternoon felt smooth not laggy at all it just wants to run now. the old turbo had 135k on it so it might have been on its way out. TEKVOLVO Posted August 21, 2006 Report Share Posted August 21, 2006 I took a short ride up to mass. today to have TEKVOLVO swap in the 15g w/60 wheel, my 2.5in catless down pipe and white injectors. Car's running good so far no check engine lights. Tek is a really cool dude who knows what hes doing. I had a good time at the shop BS-ing and wacthing him work. Plus I got to dirty their new parts washer.The car is boosting 10+ at 2500 rpm's. I dont know if thats particularly safe considering the stock turbo would usually start boosting around 2500 rpm and get up to 5psi around 3000rpm. I'll just drive it without my leadfoot for now. FIORE Posted August 22, 2006 Author Report Share Posted August 22, 2006 3 days no check engine light from DP yet. there is a "cat" on the DP but its been holed out right straight through. so if you look at it from underneath the car it has a cat but in reality its not really in there. TEK stuck a light down in there to check before he mounted it.TEK your welcome man. I'll be in touch soon about some other mods I'm considering.That 15psi thing yesterday was a one time deal till i get it tuned up right just wanted to see if would do it.
