Its a supercharged ones, a turbo SS runs a 14 flat at 103mph

Oh ok, they sure made the turbo models a bit quicker than the SC'd huh.

I wonder why GM didn't configure the turbo models to have a bit more torque......typically a turbo car makes more torque than hp doesn't it?

Looks like the SS turbo is 260/260, still really decent but yeah.....

It was an S/C model. I've seen similar times from the Ion Redlines. The S/C versions just don't perform as well, but they aren't slow. This guy just couldn't launch.

Comparing this run to your 14.648 slip and you'll see that your 19t setup is certainly leaving some HP on the table.

The .5 reduction in ET occurs by 330' - From 330' on, the 16t setup ran just as good as the 19t does - I would have expected the opposite.

What did you change on the car between the two runs (other than a larger turbo and mis-aligned cams)?

Did you use race gas back in December and regular gas this time around? Did you upgrade to stickier tires this time? Were you racing the 19t setup with a 16t tune?

I'm not saying that you car is broken, but it clearly is missing some HP. Find it and you'll be well into the 13s.

Been through this a million times...but yes, I had race gas (110 leaded) the first time around with the 15G (I never had a 16t), and 17.9psi. This time I had 91 octane, and less boost. In addition to the N/A cams, which I still have yet to find the sweet spot with. But despite the issues, the car was still quicker and faster. On race gas and with the same boost pressure as the 15G runs, I'm sure it would have been quite different.

Everything else, including the tires, was the same.

I'll be visiting the dyno soon to try a few cam settings and see what works the best.

Get the timing and other problems fixed then do a video, my t5m on low boost on stock turbo is about 3 seconds faster than that

lol...low boost? 16psi is the same as my gauge is reading on the pull I posted. :) I'll start in 3rd gear and sweep past the start speed see what happens.

Your vid looks like you're already at WOT (and over 50mph). I was holding at 40, downshifted, and then sped up. Still...I counted about 2 secs difference. And your vid starts already in gear (no time soaked in the shift), and already moving.

So...seems pretty close if you ask me. :)
