ST 17psi chip

Exhaust w/ 3" downpipe

HKS SSQV BOV

Wideband

Electronic UEGO boost controller

FMIC

Running 18psi

Was he running 18psi?

I read somewhere that Adam turned up the boost after the race. I think it was in the off-topic "What did you do to your car today thread."

Rob you were stock boost right?

Ok my time suck, I still have to learn how to take off !!!!

but I did 14,2 , 102 MPH , speed is there but skills not . I had two runs 104mph but to much wheel spin.

I have t5r 5 speed , no LSD.

Next time drag radials should help and hitch comes off.

BTW first time at the track

Thats correct as far as performance.

I am slowly learning that I cant just mash the pedal, but that I have to work it in order to hit and hold 18psi. When I was going through the gears I was not anywhere near 18psi. More like 16 with fade. I was kind of confused since I thought the exhaust, fmic and ebc were going to help with this, but after doing some more driving on the highway on my way back from the track I think I have finally figured things out. I also changed the settings on the boost controller and the car is significantly faster now. I will go to the track within the next month to pick up some better times B)

Sorry man but there is no possibility that 15g will hold 18 psi to red line , not even 16t will do it.

I guess my 14.7 isn't too bad for 'only' MBC and de-cat.

I haven't run with water injection, 3" dp and all that good stuff. Still need to get a tune, but it's coming with the rebuild.

sounds about right. I ran a 14.9@90.6 with only MBC, grounding wires, other non really performance stuff too. haha

I want to see what I can do with water injection.

Youre right, but I should be holding more boost and for longer than I was at the track during my one run when I just mashed the pedal. Thats what I am going to change next time :).

Back when I had my black wagon on a ported 15G, I ran with the vacuum line to the wastegate disconnected and spiked 19 psi fading to about 14... Was essentially just about as quick as if it were running 14 or 15 psi steady... Above 15-16 psi it is all in your mind ;)

I guess its time to start saving for the 18t then. Thanks :)
