TM850R
Yea that was some nice oil you got coming out from there. Might want to look into that problem before you go ahead and do anything else.Exhaust sounds good. Makes me want the K&R exhaust even more now... RussB
...and that was the first startup of the day...and if you keep rev'ing the car when you start it up, the oil burning will get much worse, quickly! <_<

Texas850Turbo
Nice! That sounds nearly identical to my setup! Good times mate. edit: 3" Downpipe doesn't affect sound too much, it's the performance part of the equation. Well, maybe it sounds a little deeper w/ down pipe...How much did it cost you? Yellow95
Can't use anything that has baffles. Engines need back pressure, but in our case the turbo create all the back pressure the engine needs.I find it hard to believe that a flowmaster will have more back pressure than the stock muffler. I do agree that it is not ideal though.Gary

narxs70
it sounds and looks good. i usually let my car warm up in the morning before driving (like 5-8 minutes). you should surely do that to help with oil consumption.

Owners manual actually says to not let it sit idle like that. It says it is better to start driving at low speed to warm it up. For me, it works out. I start it and start moving after 20 seconds, but I am basically idling out of the parking lot for the next minute or so, then another 3 or 4 at 25 mph. I am up to temp before the getting on the freeway.
