Dermy
congradulations.fyi. it's still a 13g.that reminds me, i wanted to ask. if i upped my boost to 12psi how would the performance be in comparison to an HPT?i dont want to go overboard on the car since its my DD but i'd like it to be at least as fast as a regular T-
RussB
OK, you guys a weirding me out...hoses will not make more boost...sorry, but it just can't happen. I would say that you had a leak with your factory hoses, be it a tear or perhaps a leaky/loose clamp. It is misleading to say that the hoses added boost the three main reasons to get silicone hoses are,1. the factory hoses are worn/torn/oil soaked2. you're running high boost, and need the added strength of the silicone3. They're so damn pretty!#3 is the reason most of us get them
PorBleemo
Out of curiosity, has the new throttle body hose been tapered up a little more so it is snug in the plastic pipe to the intercooler?

RussB
Out of curiosity, has the new throttle body hose been tapered up a little more so it is snug in the plastic pipe to the IC?The I/C piping fit very nicely into the "other end" of the TB hose, but I have no experience with the "old" TB hose.Maybe Sig will jump in here... Still a good tigth fit, but goes on with little effort.Sig

I'm not an expert but if the hose doesn't give when presure is applied (i.e. is rigid) wouldn't this at least speed up the response of the turbo and provide a betterperformance. I don't think I'm dreaming and don't have a boost guage, but definitely notice a much better response from my turbo. Definitely recommend these. If the T5 is also done the difference is huge from 3000-6000 rpm.OT off:Hoses look great. I await my blue Samcos since 7 weeks hope they arrive soonSam
