That's the best VW conversion I've seen since we put a Porsche flat six in an early Kombi some years ago - and yours would have been much more challenging!

The creative side of your brain is definitely working!

Well done!

lol nice one ive done other its a 1961 vw splitscreen pickup(my daily) i fitted a 3.0sc porshce lump 200bhp sounded nice but wasnt over fast ,so ripped it out and fitted a 3.0 v6 quad cam 2days from scratch it was in and runing that kicks out 220bhp at least and leaves t5 volvos and porshce 911 on the quarter mile lol (looks rough called rat look in the world lol cheers

Creative for sure...keep us posted!

just a volvo chipping amazeed at what hes just read and added this

the fastist he seen was 13.5 seconds quarter mile but this gives u some idea ,,

400 bhp per tonne.

Say you have 225 bhp in 500 kg car. That's the equivalent to 450 bhp in a 1000 kg car, ie 450 bhp per tonne.

If you have 300 bhp in a 500 kg car, that's equivalent to 600 bhp in a 1000 kg car, ie 600 bhp per tonne.

On a good turbo and engine, the RICA 304 will produce approx 300 bhp. No joke.(prity amazeing if he hes right)power to weight ratio?
