JHEIII874T5M
For those of us running spacers, 302MM upgrades, BBK, etc. who would be interested in a longer than stock braided brake line? I have a BBK coming my way and combined with spacers, I will be forced to run a longer than stock brake line. Thus, I am having a pair of braided lines made locally at Aeroquip to the proper size. I could have the fitting on the caliper end of the line be whatever you need them for... Porsche BBK, Stoptech, Wilwood, Stock Caliper, etc. Either way I'm having a set for myself made, just figured I'd throw this out there for anyone else interested or concerned about their brake line length up front. gdizzle
what the hell does runing a spacer have to do with brake lines? I'm assuming wheel spacers?
JHEIII874T5M
 Have no idea why I put that in there, I'm still stuck on the fact that I have run spacers to get BBKs to fit on anything other than a few wheels for these cars. BlackBeast
The connection from the volvo caliper and a porsche caliper are exactly the same. Thats what ive been told anyway. Havent got my braided lines yet.

Havent got my braided lines yet.they are for the most part. The line just connects right to the back of the caliper on the brembo.
steve s
front or rear? the rear is a solid pipe (right?). the fronts have enough slack... at least for the kit i have. i'm not quite sure why it is short for u.. is it at a different location? then again.. i'm using the ss lines that came with the kit. sorry.. too little sleep
JHEIII874T5M
Yeah, Steve, I'm getting a kit that doesn't come with lines, so I'm just having some made. Figured I'd throw it out there if anyone would like a longer set. :)

Havent got my braided lines yet.Actually it's not the same, both the Volvo and Brembo calipers use a reverse taper fitting however the Volvo hose will thread in and seal if tightened enough. The stock hose is strained if the suspension is fully extended and the wheel is at full lock. The proper hose should have a 10 MM Banjo fitting with a 45' angle and needs to be two inches longer.Bert
