pocket penguins Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 Hey guys, im planning on buying a down pipe (ipd 3inch ) and then making my own exaust. I was planning on doing a 3inch straight pipe into a Magnaflow then run out dual 2.5 pipes that are mandrell bended and cut so it looks like the stock s60r exaust tips. Which magnaflow exaust size should i run. and do you think it will be too loud. i think i want it to run a little louder than the tme exaust sold by ipd. thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Texas850Turbo Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 That set up would be quite a bit louder than ipd's, you'd need at least two mufflers to keep the noise down. Otherwise it sounds like a lot of work to get it right but if you did it I think it'd be very nice. There's nothing wrong with a simple 3" catback into a single tip- less expensive, easier to do, more muffler choices....good luck! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
