rrfpr and wideband won't work b/c we have load limits and timing pull that the stock ecu will do. Intercooler because it's pancaked between the radiator and a/c condensor.

Don't the turbos have RRFPR's to compensate for turbo boost ? Or do you mean an aftermarket one that would actually give you a "net" fuel pressure boost vs. increase in MAP ?

well an RRFPR is adjustable. But technically the ECU controls the fuel pressure for the stock FPR, where as an RRFPR is a standalone piece of the the puzzle.

BTW waterinjection works fine on the car. I am installing the WB02 soon to see what difference it makes...

Also going to install some temp sensors before IC, after IC and after my WI jet.

Cheap internally gated T3 (tbird turbo or something) (cost like $100 in good condition, just get T3 manifold adaptor for it)

3'' turbo back

FMIC

440cc+ injectors

with some form of tuning, just go custom speedtuning

As far as the MAF, apparently we have godson MAFs good for anything, who knows. I've never seen a number hp limit for them. I hacked mine to a 3'' pipe, but whatever...for 300 you don't need it and honestly if you're going for actual power you'd go MAP.

Do the S70 ECU's supprot MAP metering, or you would you need some sort of standalone / piggyback System ? I'm pretty sure it requires some sort of standalone system on the 850's but I've never looked into it, really.

And I thought MAF's didn't decrease the CFM's much because they were only a short distance

I believe you would need something to control the map input and put it to use. Due to the fact that the car is MAF controlled, and therefor most all aspects of fuel and air control are MAF based.

I heard talk of MAF "emulators" using MAP sensors for older cars (850s), but I read that if the car was ME7 based the ECU might be able to work off a MAP reading directly, with no external converter, etc.

But I can't quote any of this and I've never worked with it firsthand, so...

Very true Rob! I know the limits of the rods and there not very highwhen you make mistakes :( ..We'll see .Oh and I don't think the fpr is controlled by the ecu,it's a fpr with a boost line going to it.The fuel pressure regulator I was referring to you can set the base fuel pressure at a idle and it would go upfrom there to compersate for a larger maf sending the ecu a lower signal.

Rob who do you recommend for a custom tune with good customer service?

isnt jakes car close to 300whp on a 16t still?

this guy seems very enthused

If I remember Jake made 294whp with IPD tune, and EST down pipe and catback. Also I believe he has a EBC not sure how that plays into incresseing HP, more controlling it. Maybe the dyno was off. ;) So based on that do you really need a 19t for 300whp? (flame suit on just guesetimating based on the information from this car.) Lets say the dyno was off 10-15hp. If you put a new intercooler, cam timing and maybe retune it from just a off the self tune I think its possible to push the 16t to 300whp. Only problem I see is these might be "dyno queen" numbers and not exactly a car made to go fast. Im not an expert this is just me thinking. Maybe I'm way off.
