randytrish
Hello all,I've recently noticed that my interior light doesn't come on when I open the drivers door. It works on the passenger door and when you unlock the car with the fob. It is not turned off at the switch. I have another problem probibly not related. The rear window switch for back seat occupants does not work. I can roll the windows up and by the drivers side control fine. There is also an orange light on the drivers window control pad that stays lit. I cant find it in the owners manual. Thanks in advance,Randy
the underlørd
take out the switch that doesn't work, and spray it down with electrical contact cleaner. Over time, junk can get inbetween the contacts and hinder it's functionality.
Lynn Brockman
Hmmm. Could it be the door latch assembly? It has the switches for interior lighting, door lock status, etc.. - Lynn

Thanks in advance,RandyThe orange light is the lockout for the rear windows, you know, so little kids can't climb out those tiny quarter windows while you are hard cornering at 100 mph. You turned it on accidentally I forget exactly, but it has to do with pushing down on both rear window switches at the same time. I think to turn it off, you pull up on both at the same time for a second or so. The light will go out and your rear switches will work.
