I figured this is a good idea since there are a few people around Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, S.Island, Bronx, and Manhattan and it would be nice to know the guys that are close by, so having a get together seemses like a good idea (to me anyway). Please note that everyone is welcome to attend...we are all Volvo-nerds and this gathering is not (not will it ever be if it becomes a regular thing) descriminatory. ALL ARE WELCOME...period!Date: Saturday October 28th Location: Ikea Hicksville Long Island. The location may change at a later date to somewhere closer to Queens, but this is what we are working on now.Time: 11:00am to 12:00noon arrivals Talk, meet, pictures.Lunch: If we all decide that it is a good ides to have lunch, I can look for restaurants in the areas, even make a rservation for the number of people attending.This is what I have for now...feel free to PM me with suggestions on locations, restrants, or places in general where we can hang out for a while.Please remember...everyone is welcome to come, from all states, and with any type of Volvo, and Alfa Romeo 1974 or older.Please follow the format for the attendance list:0. From your grandparents, just get on the Meadowbrook North...take that to Nothern State Parkway East, and get off at Rt. 106/107 South...Watch for signs of IKEA on the right as you head South on 106/107It''ll be good to see ya!
