T5 time Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 If you have the code but you can't enter it because the radio displays "off," turn the ignition key to position 2 (II) for 2-3 hours. The radio will reset and display "code" again.Hi, I have the off dispalyed and was going to try to put it in 2(II), but the headlights come on and I cant shut em off. I don't have the code to enter, can you please help me unlock the stereo system? krishna Posted June 16, 2007 Report Share Posted June 16, 2007 I found a way to make the SC 710 wor for 10 minutes, maybe it is meant to make it work for awhile to turn off the anti-theft mode.PROCEEDURES:1) Reset the stereo by pulling off the outlet at the back of the unit, it is the wider port. There are 3 ports there, 1 is the CD changer which is square, then the speaker connector and has a rectangular plug and then the power supply (<----this is what you need to disconnect) lastly is the antenna cord.2) Press power and radio memory number 6 at the same time.That's it, it will work for a short time but to turn off the anti-theft... that i have to ask you guys!
