Been more into cyclocross lately.

How do ya feel about fixed trail riding :o

There's a guy here in Oakland that went through cyclecross season on a track bike. It had knobby tires and brakes and it absolutely killed his legs but he did way better then expected. The hill climb was absolutely ridiculous!

I don't know ANYTHING about road bikes, but I know Moots is fucking money. By Money I mean super cool and super fucking expensive. I would have loved to have one of their mountain bikes though. Just couldn't justify 2k+... on an essentially hard tail... frame only... 5 years ago. They are probably 5k now.

he's fine...its not going anywhere. chains are nto supposed to be tight.

On bikes with multiple gears no. I take it you've never gone over the bars/smashed your knee on your stem because of it. All in good time.

Just buy a fixed gear wheelset(or hub if you can lace) on eBay for like $100. Sealed of course. Then remove all the extra gears on your chain-ring. Throw away all the brakes and that garbage. Lose about a foot of chain and you're golden.

You also need PETA flyers to put in your spokes.

No, It wont work without the flyers.
