If it's not too nosey, can we know the price?I don't know ANYTHING about road bikes, but I know Moots is poking money. By Money I mean super cool and super poking expensive. I would have loved to have one of their mountain bikes though. Just couldn't justify 2k+... on an essentially hard tail... frame only... 5 years ago. They are probably 5k now.Close, you can score the YBB for under 3 grand. I think they're worth it. Not all titanium bikes are created equal.how do i go about doing a fixie swap. i just saved a pos frame from the wrecker and jst want a beater to start ridin back and fourth to work on..Make sure it had the right dropouts first and foremost. You can score a cheapo fixed/free wheelset on ebay ultra cheap too. You can either use spacers to get a straight chain line or go to your local bike shop and they'll compress the chainstays so it fits your average 120mm rear hub.Slightly on topic, got a new seat for my bike -- Selle Italia Flite in yellow.Love that saddle, I run it on my roadie. Also had my first spill on the bike today w/ the clipless pedals. Everyone goes down with clipless when they first start out. Luckily, you are stopped when it happens. Any seat will hurt if you aren't used to it. It will take time for you to be able sit on the saddle regardless of which one it is.I was lucky and got 2 rides in over the weekend between the rain. 34 miles yesterday and another 30 today. No amount of gel will save you, if you are really serious about it then just wipe your nethers with some chamois cream you wuss.
