iPd Cameron
C'mon, someone buy my ENVE fork before I find a short headtube track frame to use it on. For some reason my brain is trying to justify to me that I should build a whole 'nother bike just so I can use the fork.

Dick Dastardly
.....then you would need my spare EC90 carbon track drops I have but one "track" bike left.. and it has fine Nitto bars. (also has about 250k on it). sold off all of my track bikes (6 total) when I broke my hip. Kept only the most important one that I've had almost 20 years. Fudge_Brownie
I know this is the Bike PICS thread, so sorry for being a terrible person.I installed my new headset this weekend DIY. 3/4inch copper pipe cut at the end to fork out some tabs as a removal tool worked great. Then I pressed it using a long bolt and some big washers. The only problem I had was that it would never go in perfectly straight. I decided that I just needed to have a little faith and crank more. Each side straightened out and popped in. They seem fine. Is that typical? I haven't had a chance to bash it yet with all the rain, but some wheelies around the kitchen didn't reveal any looseness. iPd Cameron
Should be fine. If it's in and doesn't creak and turns smooth I wouldn't worry about it. I've installed plenty of headsets by rubber mallet...

Fudge_Brownie
So...what do you guys think about frame dents? Sides of the downtube. This guy's on CL right now, and it's been used well. There's two dents in the logo on the down tube. I'm not looking to take big drops, but I don't want to buy a worthless frame that I'll always wonder about. I'm no lightweight either.Thoughts on the Bike Blue Book? Some of the prices I've looked up seem to be spot on. But this one is like $700-$1000 Blue Book in it's current condition and the guy is asking $1400. Even if I accept the frame dents, I'm not sure we're going to agree on price because I'd like it to be under $1k.20007 Enduro SL Expert with 2008 shock internals, and a rebuilt shock in 2011. http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/bik/4405099921.html
