BurgerBob
Cycling is so dramatic. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/van-den-driessches-friend-claims-ownership-of-motorised-bike/
matt b
Dramatic or loaded with dishonest people ? Her brother is serving a suspension for EPO use and that same brother + their father is serving time for stealing high end exotic birds in a pet store a year ago. She's a crook, from a family of crooks and as Wiggo and others have said: she should be banned from the sport altogether.

Apparently a Danish company is buying them I heard. Owned by PON holding, its a interesting company. Owns Cervelo, BBB (bike parts) and Gazelle (mostly roadbike's). Has a big share in the VAG group. It's Dutch btw. It's extremely wet in the Netherlands, a lot of trails are damaged due to the rain which is a shame. Did my home trail last Friday (two dry days in a row...) with the Idworx and it was a blast, it doesn't mind mud, the Santa Cruz on the other hand, everything rattles and squeaks in a few miles...and...fully's are a pita to clean! This is a big thing in my country; https://11antsbikes.com/mantis-2/ The attention to detail is amazing, but so is the price.

I read an article with Rob from Santa Cruz a few weeks ago and for some reason Denmark was stuck in my head Those Mantis' are really cool. iPd Cameron
Finally got a pic with my favorite local mural: Also swapped to a longer stem and Nitto flat bars on the Geekhouse. Ended up being a much better combo with the track geometry: Edited February 8, 2016 by iPd Cameron
flyfishing3
Pat, you get your powermeter hooked up yet? I'm curious what types of numbers you are seeing on the flats. I threw my Cyclops wheel on last night to ride the rollers. I had decent drag on, but i'm surprised at the numbers. I'm still using flats on the rollers. I can't imagine the day i'll be able to clip in on those things lol.
BurgerBob
I'm off the bike now (knee problems), but did successfully get the power meter going. Threshold power was 240watts, putting me around 3.3watts/kg. I need to lose some weight and gain some strength, but it's a fun training tool. I definitely enjoy riding with one. flyfishing3
i think you are logging too many miles IMO. i know you have a goal, but you log a ton. Maybe less miles with more intervals. more days off, cross train etc. i agree about a fun training tool. I like having it on a wheel. i can take it off to save the weight etc. My good bike is an 11 speed and the cyclops is a 10. I would have to look into a new hub to use on the Lynksey, but its fine to put on travel bike when i want or use on rollers.

Probably should've taken some time off after the crash, but wanted to get ready for Rouge Roubaix. Oh well. And remember, even if I log big miles, you typically climb more in one ride than I do in one week. If we had hills, my mileage would be way smaller (or I'd be way stronger).
