flyfishing3
if you want something tough= get the gatorskins from conti. i use the conti GP4000SII. great performance and i get 3,000-4,000 miles out of them and great in the wet and cold. i run Conti race tubes i run 25s also.
Burn-E
I'm probably going to get a second wheel set for 25s. I looked into using 25s on my 23 wheels and there are several reasons why it wouldn't improve efficiency but instead would be a detriment in how the tire profile and contact patch impact performance. flyfishing3
unless you have some really thin wheels everybody i know has loved going to 25. i'm about to see if i can sneak 28s even. most wheel sets are 17 inside 20-25 outside measurements. the rolling resistance, comfort, bigger contact patch are all worth the switch. Almost all my friends have switched over to 25. http://www.competitivecyclist.com/learn/25-vs-23 http://www.bikeroar.com/articles/why-you-must-run-wider-tires-on-your-road-bike i run at 100psi also. Burn-E
I read all those articles plus a few others but this particular discussion has me reconsidering whether my wheels are going to achieve improvements with 25s. https://intheknowcycling.com/2016/04/03/best-wider-road-bike-tires-wheel-sizes/

iPd Cameron
Vittoria Open Corsa SC II are great -- 300tpi. Super smooth, light, etc. and in my experience not overly flat prone. Sadly they don't make them anymore BUT the new version, the Corsa G+ are supposed to be even better. All the same lightness, smoothness, 300tpi but now with Graphene which is supposed to make them very flat resistant. I've got a set waiting to replace the Corsa SC II's on my All City when they wear out. Speaking of the All-City here's a blurry pic from today's lunch break:
Burn-E
This is one of my absolute favorite bike tools. Telescoping speed lever. Makes tube and tire changes an absolute cinch. For the life of me I can't understand why they no longer sell them. http://kk.org/cooltools/crank-brothers-1/

Matty Moo
I found this in the trash. It appears to be worth very little so it may go right back out on garbage night.
