Do you have pics of your tires? The 2.35 came this weekend and is supposedly a newer tread pattern than the 2.25 ones I got off of Jenson USA... what doesn't make sense though is that the 2.25 to me seems to have a better tread pattern/design, is lighter, and the tire wall graphics lettering is more lively and brighter...

There are different "varieties". I forget which mine is.

I.e. They have a few different levels of the Nobby Nic.

tread compounds etc

No clipless pedals...?

I went through a phase where I was all about clipless. But eventually I realized I was holding myself back because I'd push myself in a turn, the front would wash a bit, but I wouldn't get too adventurous with my inside foot still clipped in. Clipping out before the turn didn't work that great either, as it was too much mental effort. So I decided to give flats a try again. Not sure I'll go back.

Also, how is clipless still the default term? It's impressively misleading.

Clipless is a complete misnomer, agree.

Surprised the majority of the MTB guys in here do platforms - last time I ran them I came over a rock feature, my foot slipped off the pedal, and the pedal gouged my leg bigtime. Nothing against them, but I quickly learned to clip in/clip out, those took a while to heal :blockhead:
