Mesoam
I'd stay away from the CF wheels you're hard on brakes with those hills you ride....Unless of course you want to go disc brake...
Dick Dastardly
one of the top 5 most annoying bikes to work on in the history of working on bicycles.. Edited July 30, 2012 by scumcity14
matt b
What's the story behind the bike ? That's a nice TT bike! Teammate's wife took this picture of my bike yesterday during a day of races. Made me think of Mike's comment about having a bike that looks like a pro.

We sell a ton of BMCs...maybe 40 this year so far..That was one of 8 or 9 in for service at the shop right now..He just wanted adjustable brake levers installed so he can swap his wheels around. The ones on there now are his "training wheels" he also has a set of Zipp 808s and a set of Kysirium SLRs Also has a Zipp 900 rear. What a pain to set up thise brakes.

Yep. and Ridley BMC Santa Cruz Cervelo Specialized Kona Felt (whats left..we dropped em. too many warranty issues) We also keep a couple Turner and Ellsworth frames around too BMC had a factory demo day at the shop @ 2 months ago. They had 20 or so loaners and had a tent set up and a bunch of other cool shit for people to try out on the wed night group rides..That worked out well, we sold a lot after that..they're pretty nice bikes (if your into road, crit,TT,or Tri) Edited July 30, 2012 by scumcity14

Dick Dastardly
Any moots? Not in stock but I know we've gotten them in for customers. i can find out though.. For roadbikes we seem to be @95% Carbon these days..BMC, Cervelo and Ridley..and surprisingly a lot more Specialized lately I am still getting used to how many highend roadbikes we sell.. it just grows every year. Mesoam
I think carbon is a pretty big trend right now, that being said I love my carbon roadie It is hard getting used to all the noises carbon bikes make coming from metal.

I have been thinking lately that roadbikes seem to be settling on carbon and I think that it will become the standard..Much like tennis raquets in the late 80s..Once they perfected Carbon/graphite raquets there is no other material to play tennis with. Of course there will always be steel and Ti, but I think those will be relegated to the niche market (haven't they for 10 years anyway?) and aluminum will be low end mass market for the most part
