Mesoam
I have been thinking lately that roadbikes seem to be settling on carbon and I think that it will become the standard..Much like tennis raquets in the late 80s..Once they perfected Carbon/graphite raquets there is no other material to play tennis with. Of course there will always be steel and Ti, but I think those will be relegated to the niche market (haven't they for 10 years anyway?) and aluminum will be low end mass market for the most part I think there is still some advancement to be made in the carbon frame world including more small shop craft makers as opposed to the fact most of the carbon frames come out of Taiwan and are just plastered with brand decals. However definitely think you've got the right idea, Is any manf using the hybrid stuff like the Ti-Carbon weave? I know my Bianchi uses some of the Carbon-Kevlar in the seat stays. Similar to when there were a ton of different alloys being used on frames (think like Specialized and their M compound frames e/t/c)

Volvo_go_go
So last night I hosted some couchsurfers (Couchsurfing.org) who were riding from Key West, FL to Niagara Falls, NY! I was Day 39 of their 50 day journey. They are raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project, and have never cycled out of state so I was pretty damn impressed! Nice guys too, check out their webpage and what not: www.mikeandnate.com Oh! and Nate (Right) drives a 1992 240 which I thought was awesome

Fudge_Brownie
Yeah you know those non-conformists...that seem to conform to a certain pattern of predictible conformity Since everyone's busy being different, I figure if I just stay the same, eventually I'll be unique.
