matt b
I used those wheels and tires most of last year and on the trainer over the winter. I got my money and use out of them, the tires must have 3,500 miles on them (low estimate). Raced today, rode the Williams with tubulars, great wheels. Emiel
Went to the Nürburgring last weekend with friends, did a couple of laps at the mtb trail next to the Nordschleife, great fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezu1QTChwws&list=UU1ZLjpRHGi_MAsJxDkYzZdQ&feature=share&index=1 Steilstrecke is a 28% climb next to the famous Karusell corner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD-TvJEdqTs&feature=share&list=UU1ZLjpRHGi_MAsJxDkYzZdQ&index=5 From Swedenkreuz to Adenauer Forst, a long downhill part, very tricky with the damp soil. More video's on my youtube channel.

Timbo Slice
Starting to find some pretty nice routes now that the weather is getting nice here in Cleveland. Rode about 20 miles to the sand pits last night, played 3 games, and rode another 25 home. I feel great this morning surprisingly and this was after I hit the gym too. I'm slowly building a list of a few components I'd like to pick up when I have some dispensable income. Most importantly I'm looking for both a handle bar mount for my phone to utilize a few cycling apps as well as a Cateye or something of that nature. Does anyone have any recommendations? The mount would be for an iPhone 5, though I'll be upgrading to a 6 this year when my plan is up so I'll probably have to pick up another down the road. flyfishing3
need some 'splainin. i'm looking at the GARMIN VECTOR pedals. They are based on the Look Keo pedals/cleats etc. they talk about a 0deg. and a 6 deg float pedal/cleat respectively. what is this float and whats the dif. Is it the pedal or cleat or what. i currently use the SPD SL on DA 9000
Timbo Slice
Pedal float is the amount of mobility your foot has when it's clipped in (side to side as if you are trying to unclip). Personally, I am not a pro cyclist and I'm still learning form and technique so I am running Shimano 105 pedals with 9deg float cleats. I like the little bit of movement I have in my footing, but it really depends on what you're used to. Are the actual pedals themselves float rated or are just the cleats you install? With my Shim 105s it's just the cleats, so if I decide I want to change up to a different float rating I just spend $20 on a new set of cleats with a different float rating. flyfishing3
I've never heard of the spd Sl's talk about float. I feel i have very little movement. i wonder if i would want 0 deg, or 6deg of float. ++++ok, just looked it up. i'm used to using a 1deg. set up.
