We had to walk most of Kesselchen towards the Karusell, absolutly no traction (with almost no air in the tires, 0.5 Bar in 2.4 wide tires). A fatbike would be nice for these conditions, still hope that the whole fatbike thing is over within 2 years, it just look ridiculous. The video; There was a guy driving a quad on track near Brünnchen. It's privat property so I guess it would'nt be legal to be on the track with bikes, quads nor snowmobiles. Thats why we didn't bike on the long straight and after the touristfahrt entry, there are camera's monitoring that part of the circuit. I tried it for the first time this year and am happy with the results - it was a lot easier for me than I thought it would be. Guess all the riding I've been doing this year is paying off. Goal is to ride 500km (310 miles) between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. I ended up finishing a day early, but would have finished 2 days early if I hadn't gotten 2 flats on that ride. Rode through lots of rain, wind and cold on my All City. This pic is from the last ride to finish the miles. It looks nice in the pic but even though it was sunny what you can't see is that it was 25* that day with 25mph winds. flyfishing3 Posted January 6, 2015 Report Share Posted January 6, 2015 i wouldn't call it organized, and i'd have to dig up my miles, but i probably did. did a 60 miler in 19F weather, bunch of 30-40 mile cold rides. finished up around 3200-3300 miles this year. I know you don't like them, but honestly I couldn't be happier with the ones on my wife's bike. She commutes on them and hasn't had a flat since making the switch from regular road tires.
