The Army takes the grunt, and my uncle is in the Army and served in Iraq for 2 years. ~MikeI cannot believe some said this, the Army is a bunch of pansies. More die because there are a gazillion of them, We Marines are built like NO other force here in the US except for the elite forces, just to compare basic training alone is far more complex than any other. Another thing, it is funny how ppl talk about these things just siting at home playing Playstation, when I came back from the sand lot, I changed I HATE ppl talking like they've been there! The reason why the Army takes more casualties is because they ride around in fucking humvees all day and get shot up and IED'd. Ok, I'm a Us Marine, who happened to go to war not your uncle giving GI-Joe stories, I respect him for what he is but listen kiddo I'm 2nd Batallion ok I WAS farking there, is bad enough your ignorant a$$ can get stuff right and I forgive you for that, but at least have the decency of showing respect, I think if you EVER say to any Us Marine in his face that the only reason for joining was to have a "better chance of not seeing ground combat, you WILL need surgery "try it" very very idiotic for you to say that. Army ppl get "time out" card during training , 20 out of 20 ppl will be in-out of Army training and stay for a while, mebe 10 ouf of 20 Marines will actually make it out and stay for some time... Do yourself a favor and LEARN! Yet, uniformly they state that the plan for the reconstruction of Iraq is flawed. They assume that if our troops are fighting hand-to-hand combat…something…they might not know exactly what… but something…must have gone horribly wrong. Therefore, Bush’s plan must be flawed!!! They really don't understand that chaos is a big part of war.These liberal pacifist morons have cast the soldier as a "victim"…instinctively…to find the oppressed group… and to champion it…like so many of their causes. This false attempt of protection comes against their perennial accusation of being unpatriotic or having an anti-military sentiment, since they can claim "we support the troops; we want to bring them home so that they don't have to die for nothing!" Our enemy is as nasty as they come, they have killed thousands of innocent people around the world by the most savage of means, but still many do not wish to do away with them. And anyone has been in a war knows that it is hell on earth, and no war is worth fighting unless we have reason to fight. Yes, WWII was worth fighting because we knew our enemies.
