info2x
Ok Now I know plenty of members are going to flame me buying the OEM brace, but that's what I went with. It's going to suit my needs and if I find that later down the road I want something different, OMP seems to be a popular brace, then I'll switch.I just picked one up from the dealer today and when I got home I noticed that it has two rectangular indents on either side that don't look too healthy. I'm thinking it's damage but wanted to know if other people had the brace and noticed these marks. There is an identical mark on the other end of the cross member. This is the mark, I didn't put the ends on the crossbar yet that's why it doesn't look like a strut brace.I don't want to put this in and then have the part suffer a fatigue failure from the increased stresses around the indent if it wasn't designed as such.-INFO2X

Evil E
I think they're for mounting the Ohlins strut kit.
Big Will
It's a well made brace from everything people say. The consensus seems to be OEM or for a little less money and possibly slightly better OMP. I have the OEM for the Genuine Volvo look and I like it. Mine also has the indents. stm1up
I always thought it was to accommodate the arc the brace has while being a hollow tube. I could be wrong however!

Kibim
I never knew they made an OEM one. Guess what i'll be ordering! (strut braces are just too expensive to ship!) It looks decent. Nice and rigid.
