550
God, Mark you are slow Oh wait... I'm slow(er) hahaha I still have yet to even mount my FMIC... I guess time is nearering. pooAny updates?
550
Oh also, mark talk to Greg on the exhaust. He has done it before... he mentioned two 45's.He did his almost a year ago now... I honestly, don't think the 3 inch will be too big an issue in the rear section. I think finding the time to do it, and the place to do it and the place to weld it wil be the biggest issue for me haha.Oh and I need a metal blade for my miter saw
Curtis G
Mark, That is one sick Volvo...... Great attention to detail. I am interested in the NIRA system, what kind of performance increse are you expecting to get from it? I know they are the best of the best. Also are you installing a fuel pressure regulator or a higher compression fuel pump? anyways great job, id love to see it run. 550
I dont think he is hoping to see an performance increase from using NIRA... I mean he has to tune it. The engine and turbo are the performance.
ErikS
What was the budget on this build if you don't mind me asking, just curious . . .
VolvoKid4Life
I am looking to use NIRA on my summer project car this year. Its better than any piggy back system. Also being able to get your car tuned to perfection is kickass.JR

BlackT5
Despite being extremely hung over today, I was able to finish up a few things. Pulled the cluster and removed the CEL bulb Started running the PCV line, just gotta get my buddy to fab up the catch can.Friday I got the turbo mounted for the last time. The stock return line fits, but it was a bitch.Drilled & tapped the intake manifold for the MAP/IAT sensorThe manifold wasn't quite as thick as i'd hoped, so to ensure a tight seal i made a little spacer.... and after cleaning all the debris from the manifold, it's mounted. Then it was onto the injectors.. stock white 350cc and new Siemens 630ccAll installed in the rail...and everything back on the manifold
Figawi
...and everything back on the manifoldthat all came out as one unit? was it easy to remove? looks great man!
Zevu
85% of things on volvos are easy to take off. And 90% of the 85% are easy to fix. And 100% of the 90% of the 85% cost money in some way shape or form. That is unless your talking about the last 10% of the 25% from the 85%, then its free......... :monkey:
Jesus
Since you already have your gauge cluster out, there's a few guys over in this thread that are wondering how easy it is to pop off the needles.
BlackT5
I finished 99% of the wiring for Nira. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on this. Johann, Chuck, Adam, LG and others. Not a whole lot to see really, but here are some misc pics of the process... yes I cut up my harness....and finished! Not!!I have to finish looming a couple wires and i'm just waiting for a new ECT sensor before I start putting things back together. Also STILL waiting for the intake pipe bends and some pieces for the exhaust.
