BlackT5 Posted January 22, 2007 Author Report Posted January 22, 2007 Wow that looks geat. What concerns me Is that I don't know how that compressor housing is going to clear the tranny mount thats below the turbo, even on my 16g I had to grind away at that mount and the compressor housing so that it will fit.It clears. I don't know how, but it clears Maybe the auto trans has a larger mount? because i'm almost certain that the S cover on the 35r is bigger than the 16g. Have you measured the diameter Ben? *also added a mods list on page 1 Quote
narxs70 Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 i was hoping i would get to see some progress on this build. good job and the manifold looks good. Quote
TorqueSteer Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 I havent mesured the diameter of the 16g, but ive held both my 16g and 35r in my hands and the 35r compressor housing is most certainly larger, the exhaust sides seemed about the same, but the turbine wheel on the 35r was most certainly larger. It clears. JoshV70 Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Hey Mark does the turbo clear the heater hoses. Can't remember if I asked you this already or not. Quote
BlackT5 Posted January 24, 2007 Author Report Posted January 24, 2007 The turbo itself clears the heater hoses. I'm just not sure if i'll be able to run a 4" intake pipe, it might hit them. Going to have to buy a piece of 4" and try it. Quote
