The dems that promised (the ones that the liberal morons voted in on the 7th)to put a tax cap on property here in IL and keep the freeze on our electrical bills just stabbed the folks in the back that voted them in! This country is to complacant, lazy, comfortable and fat to do anything moral it seems any more. What ever feels good do it is not nessisarily the right thing to do! The former CEO of the McDonalds corparation ate the food that he sold all his life, he died at 44 of cancer. However yes, I do believe if you eat heavily processed foods all your life you will get cancer and die. No, I am not wanting to restrict what fokls eat. Consider what has been portrayed on television for so many years, to make the sad sack victim of society a celebrity. How many hours have been logged over the last 4 decades with shows like Merv Griffin, Dinah Shore, Phil Donahue, Oprah Winfrey, Geraldo Rivera, Jerry Springer, Sally Jesse Raphael, Rosie O'Donell, Montell Williams, Nancy Grace, Maury Povich, Jenny Jones, Ricki Lake, Dr. Phil, Ellen DeGeneras, Connie Chung, The Peoples Court, Divorce Court, Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Cheaters, etc., that have exploited American citizens for profit while untold millions of viewers sit by idley and watch these train wrecks of shows as their brains are being sucked through their eyeballs? No wonder so many are on drug therapy. We should export all of this BS media to our enemies so they can be the fat lazy lambs we have become. Is fear of that the reason we are hated?Becoming more outrageous for popularity today is fashionable. Why do we need to know so much about the Paris Hilton partying, or Brittany Spears lack of undergarments, or Tom Cruz's whatever, or any Hollywood schmuck de jour? This current war on terror has lasted longer than World War II. Why during all of this time has their not been any favorable press in regards to any heroic achievement by our military men and women?
