I contacted my datacenter and they will be replacing it shortly. Rather than just turn off the boards I have them set read only for members until the time comes to shut down and replace the drive. First person who e-mails me "I cannot post" and I am turning off the board. Obviously at some point the board will go off for the drive to be replaced. When that happens expect ~90 minutes down time for the drive to be replaced and rebuilt. After that the server should run with no issues until sometime late next week when we move off this hunk of junk onto a new hunk of junk. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Whatever you do though, don't sell the tow vehicle, it'd just be wrong.Is this a one time expense, are you having a low membership month, or is this basically the deal, month in-month out ? Traffic drops ~ 15% until Feb. Mostly due to holidays and the fact only the hard core modify during winter. Didn't have any real down time. Server was up. All services except apache which was off during the back up. Server itself was only off for ~20 minutes. Old hunk of junk. Cannot wait for rest of the new system to get here... On a blade barring a SAN/NAS you have to pull the unit to replace a drive. At this point in time I am not paying another datacenter to LB two servers or another 5k just so I can run a cluster. If grown continues in ~18 month this will have to be looked at.
