S60RDUDE Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 So I have searched the forum, read 90% of the posts and I am still left hanging. I really want a picture of a tan Lo-tek single pod mounted. I really like the work that OEM pods or rodpods.net does and I want to see if I really will need to go that route. I have ordered a Lo-Tek tan pod for my S70 but I have a feeling I am going to hate it. So please post pics, PM me and email me pics do what you will just let me see!! I know you are out there!THANKS!
Mesoam Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 if you don't like it paint it...it matches "ok" as much as a single pod screwed into the a-pillar is going to match
S60RDUDE Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 if you don't like it paint it...it matches "ok" as much as a single pod screwed into the a-pillar is going to matchI am not so much worried about color as fit and look. If Rodpod gets back to me I will probably go that route.
MeanGreenSwedeMachine Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 There are pics on Lotek's site, aren't there?
S60RDUDE Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 There are pics on Lotek's site, aren't there? Not of a Tan. I asked for a pic they denied me. I bought it anyway...
AaronD81 Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 If you're not worried about color what's wrong with the pic on their website? Fit will be the same. I just ordered a "grey" one and AM worried about color. I know I can paint it, but I paid an extra $4 so it better be close.

I am doing rodpods.net 2-3 weeks I think I am sending both A pillars to be painted and my pod mounted and contoured. Will look OEM. I am having a hard time dealing if I even want a gauge I hate riced out cars but I think an OEM looking gauge will be ok. Honestly I do not know where I am boost wise this is why I want the gauge mounted.
ViperVette Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 The work that rod does is a night and day difference from the Lo-Tek mount. Lo-Tek just kinda sits there where as rod molds it in entirely. Granted its expensive, but you gotta look at that ugly thing everytime you drive your car. I'd rather spend a little skrilla and have it look awesome then just bolt the thing on.
