I have a regular S70 bumper but the plastic vent moldings are mis matched and ugly. Anyone have any idea what they are called (moldings next to fog lights) and what I should do in their place? Volvo Virgin Posted December 12, 2006 Report Share Posted December 12, 2006 go get a matching one from your dealer. shouldn't cost more than 15 bucks anyways.otherwise get an R bumper.Agreed.You already have the R grill for the passenger side,so if you're on a budget go get the matching R grill for the driver's side.Then take out your center grill and with a razor blade you can slice off the tabs that are there to hold the grill in place.That would give you a nice custom,uniform look for cheap.Otherwise just drop the nut and go pick up an R bumper from the dealer.With the grills and all should be $450-500 pre-painted from the dealer. I just got some delivered from Germany, very expensive but you should be able to get them cheaper from a US supplier. They also make your car look about 2 inches lower at the front.Also while I don't particularly like your grill, I would be interested to know if it channels air better through the grill as the raised bits would tend to trap the air and funnel it through instead of the stock grill letting some of the air flow over the hood. If I don't get an R bumper these are what I am getting.My front grille is a factory "egg crate" grille off an XC 70 I think it looks bad a$$ plus lets air hit the inter cooler.
