Denovae
Custom fab a RWD!!!That is my dream to fit a 700 series drivetrain in a 850 with a V-8just a imagine the 850 rolling up to you at the track with drap tires in the rear FI SBC's are very easy to install in other car's - hence why there are multiple FD and FC Gen RX-7s with Ls1 / Ls6 swaps. I'd start there and throw in a 9inch ford rear end if you plan on going big power. You'd probably have to go without some accessories though.ooo... ITBs pretty. Johann
Welded most of the upper and front cage now. Rear part still needs to be done. Tomorrow I can pick up the material for the cross main, rear and door bars.Fitted the dashboard over the cage today and with some minor tweaking it droppen right in place. The cage runs through the dash speaker openings, cross bar clears the tacho unit also.Still need to weld in a small bracket to support the dash at the lower audio/ash tray area. narxs70
wow, that is awesome. this car should make for a very fun track car. i think it would benefit from being a little lower than in that picture tho. haha, now that's monster trucking. Johann
Rear part of the cage is finished, upper part also. Mounted the dash for test fit, no support in the middle yet.Installed the engine and gearbox,The front KW's and rear race springs. stance is like this,Forgive the bad image, only had my crappyGSM phone camera with me.The new ordered front KW springs are 1.5-2 coils longer than the older versions. At the moment the struts are adjusted to the lowest possible setting without the tenderspings..
