I'm sorry, Johann, but the apple green is quite nice, I think.

Looks like its coming along quite nicely...keep up the pics!

You mentioned something about the airbox being huge...isn't it normal to place the little foam filters on the ends of the velocity stacks? Were you talkign about the 'regular' ait box?

Hope the water damage wasnt too bad int he office either..

Didn't make that much progress unfortunately..

What I did,

Made a 2.5" SS "downpipe" including a Kemira 100CPI cat. The pipe connects to the stock GLT manifold and has a volvo turbo 2.5" connection at the spot where a Ferrita 2.5" exhaust will be fitted. If all goes as promised the exhaust will arrive tomorrow.

I also lowered the radiator by 30 mm to make some room for the airbox. The way it looks now there should be sufficient room.

Made a shorter oil dipstick ~170 mm made out of alloy, welded a bracket to fix it to the engine.

Made an oldskool belt tensioner on the alternator mount.

Did a lot of brainstorming on the airbox, teh one problem I have is how to make it as much one piece as possible with the ability to mount the velocity stacks inside...

Picked up a Toora fibre race seat which is pretty much identical to the Sparco as used in SDII, also have the steering wheel which is a Sparco 325CSN. This one is the same as used in the SDII except using a 90 mm deep dish instead of 60 mm with the SDII. The Hub has been on backorder for ages, now it is set for early March delivery.. :angry:
