Back in July 2007 I recieved a call from Bob Miller, owner of atspeed, Bob told me he needed some money to start building my motor. So, I sent Bobby a check for $4000.00. To make a very long story short, I went down to MD to pick up my R, because I was sick of Bob's bullsh*t and lies. Bob has this guy there telling me if I don't sign this paper I'm not taking my car and they are keeping my money ($2000.00) and he will use what ever force nessasery to stop me!!!!!!!!!!!!!So he makes me sign off, now remember Im being threated by this guy. To make a long story short...... I'm shaking as I write this!! Sorry..... Anyhow, I get my car home and after calming down. I start looking through these boxes, half my parts are missing!! Cams, crank, cam gears, coils, half shafts, etc, etc.Put it like this, a lot of stuff!! Then I take notice that my RC fuel inj are missing! WTF! Didn't this prick take my fuel inj, take a set of stock inj, spray paint them black, put um back in the fuel rails so I wouldn't notice!!??Oh, one more thing before I get off here to get ready for work....... About a week or so after I'm sitting in my livingroom, still thinking about what had happened. The upgrade Haldrex system that Evolve installed on my R came to mind. I ran out of my house, went to where my car is sitting and guess what?Yeah, that son of a oh yeah! took that too.. WTF!!I'll post pics today, wait till you see the box of wiring......Look guys, please don't give me any stuff! I'm still REALLY upset about all of this.......... My car will be paid off this year, I bought it new Jan 2004. The internet is a very powerful tool........... There was another guy with his R there that got shafted as well, some parts missing. Not to the degree of mine though.Thinking about a lawsuit against Atspeed and having a jury trial. I was forced to sign, I was not in the right state of mind, considering the events that took place that day. I only live in Harrisburg and have a spot to store it and work on it. I am more intresteed in getting it driveable then just having it sit. With that being said, I'm not sure what I'm doing at this point with my R. You know I even thought about dropping in a LS7 motor and trans, I know that would be some serious fab work but that's what I do for a living. I invent and fab products for the motorcycle industry that we sell world wide... Now by no means am I rich, some people seem to think I am, but I'm far from it..... I mean hell I go weeks with out getting paid! What it is, is that motorcycles, cars are my life and I'd rather wake up and go to work loving what I do then be miserable everyday because I hate my job.....I"m still in shock about Atspeed, for those of you that have never seen the inside of there shop, it's huge!! Millions of dollars worth of porsches but yet parts were stolen off of my R??? I think it would be best just to buy a new, used long block or a short block? There is so many parts missing here bro.If anybody (reading, member) would happen to know where one could find a short or long block PLEASE let me know?Justin, if we were to get together on this project I would want to drop in aftermarket pistons, rods, etc. There is no way that after all this wasted time I'm going stock. I read this thread about a month ago and it truly shows you that there are some real $hitbag$ out there. At the least anyone who's read this "may" have learned some valueble lessons.FWIW... the next time anyone has to deal with this kind of nonsense or if you are just taking your car in for repair or ???... carefully read and sign each and every document like you are taking your child there to get surgery... hopefully there never will BE a next time... but the next time... take an attorney... and a cop to pick up your car. You'd actually be surprised what the actual rights of the consumer are. Document EVERYTHING... take pictures... yadda yadda yadda. After being in the automotive repair business for nearly twenty three years... I'll never understand how people can do this kind of stuff... a shop and it's employee's reputations are the most valueble thing they can have. Sad. I'm always, I mean always, being taken advantage of because of my kindness and the fact that I have a big heart. The reason I do the things I do isn't for what I can or could get out of it.
