Just so you guys know, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There is a reason why stock HID's cost a lot of money. There is a reason why John's HID's cost more as well. Those are quality kits/units that will last.

I appreciate the support man!

The other problem here is that say you do need to replace a bulb or ballast within the 14 months you will have to send it all the way back to China - about $20-$30 for shipping due to customs etc. Then you may have to pay that again to have the replacement sent back here. All in all you are looking at 4-6 weeks just to get a replacement bulb or ballast. This is the problem with many of the ebay kits.

A lot of research and testing has gone into the kits I sell and they are using components my supplier believes to be the most reliable and most up to the job of offering a life time warranty.

I'm gonna have to agree. It's NOT fun to have a bulb burn out on you <_<

I noticed that there is a HID kit for sale on your online store for $200 and you only provide one year warranty.

For purchases on mydepots.com, if the bulb or ballast ever fail within 14 months, you have 2 options:

1. Send back the defective part and we will send you a new one.

2. Pay a shipping fee of $25 and we will send you a new one immediately and you don't need to send back the defective part.

Chuck said it was ok, so please do not delete my thread. Thanks.

Sounds like a pretty good deal! These prices are running on very small margins, and a good deal for anyone. The $25 fee for failed components is convienent because most manufacturers just require you to send back the whole system (if anyone remembers Adrian's kit). How much is shipping on just the bulbs? How about a Volvospeed discount code? That would probably get a lot of people to try them out. :)

That's why I love my retro. OEM parts are just so great.

I keep TWO extra HID bulbs in my trunk. Why? they are bloody cheap! I have 20 of them at home. OEM Philips bulbs are $20 on eBay. Ballasts can be bought for $50/each on eBay as well.

OEM parts are:

a) reliable

B) cheap

c) proper

+1 to that. Never had any problems using OEM ballasts or bulbs...haven't had one go out either *knock on wood*
