ok you have on the site a kit for bmw's, its $190... what costs more than the other kits? "i see it has a resistor or whatever to stop bulb out messages from behind displayed" but can you explain a bit more about it, im wondering if that is universal for other cars too, such as say a mercedes since that another problem with low cost hid kits for benz's... then i would need to see a pic of the h7 end with wire, in detail. This is b/c i have an enclosed cap that houses the bulbs inside and is sealed, thus i would want to see how much work it would be to cut and chop pieces of plastic to get this kit in.

The one for BMW that is priced at $190 not only has a resistor, but also a filter inside the ballast. On some BMWs, its not just a "check low beam", the light flickers during warm up because of the ECU. This whole resistor and filter thing is to tell the ECU that the headlamp system uses 55W instead of 35W and thus fix that problem. You may find people selling special cables on eBay that can solve this problem. My BMW kit is an integrated version. And this kit is designed to be a universal one although it is called "BMW Kit". Could you tell me which model of Benz you have? I can ask my supplier whether the kit is tested on that model or not. I will post a few pics of the H7 end wire later for your reference.

Got your order. Will send you the kit next Monday.

and then shipping is 30 dollars?

also, do you plan on getting h3 HID bulbs?

That's correct. Shipping is approx. USD30. And I have added H3 to the bulbsize list. We already have them.

Its a 2001 C320 Sedan, the low beams are h7 50w and the low beams are 9006 55w i believe. Ill double check the wattage on those but im fairly sure thats the numbers. Also there is a crappy ass spring retainer clip thing that prevents most aftermarket setups from working and i have heard of the flicker thing but never seen it myself but have the the codes it throws.

from what i know there is only one confirmed kit (from someone who has tried it i know of) that really is plug and play sold off ebay for w203 car but is very expensive compared to your kit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-MTEC-HI...emZ250080317592

Well, i checked their ebay item. I don't know if you would believe me or not, but the kit they claimed to be "authentic" is also made in China. You can see 4 Chinese characters on the lower right corner of the black package in the pic that they claimed to be "authentic". Its really not wise to make such a comparison, if you want to say that the kit is not made in China. If the ballast does not have "QC Pass" stickers, it means that the product has not passed the quality control system of the factory. I believe they just printed some barcode and sticked it there. Anyway...

As for the connectors, I already asked my colleague to take a pic. Before you see that, i won't say it's will be plug and play on your car. As for whether it is tested on a 2001 C320, i will give you an answer on Monday.

Well its finally a night time. And I took my gf for a ride. The first thing she said was wow, your ligts are so bright.... and they look so nice.. Now this girl would not notice if i would paint my car pink.. but she noticed the lights right a way.

All I can say is that I am really impressed about these setup. I drove by a few lexus and an Accura with aftermarket HIDs well compared to mine those were by far less luminous. I could see about 2 or 3 city blocks down the street, and the collor of the light is just amaizing.

well enough of the babel here are some pics.

Its illegal to sell them as after market kits actually. Which is why you see them all out of canada, ebay or labels as off road use only. As for 24v those are for 24v systems like my truck. i.e. more than one battery in series.

Wait... SO i can get a ticket for having HID on my car???? what about all those luxury cars with HIDs? If they are OEM like that I can just tell a cop that my car comes with them... he/she would not know any better I doubt many cops drive a volvo in their spare time.

well i didnt even really give much credit to those statements anyways, all im concerned about is the clip package thing and the codes.

For some reason i think ill probably get away with saying its factory over you (cop will probably think a benz owner has no idea how to even open the hood). Your better off with around 4300-4500k with that then say 6000k or even worse 8000k.

P.S. the people that quote other people that have pics in post, edit out the pictures from the quote. The other person knows your talking about the pics and other users have to load numerous repeats of the same large pics.
