Oreo931
Hey,I made a stupid mistake and decided to tint my tail lights in the 40 degree weather, not thinking about the contents inside the can of tinting spray which had been sitting out in the cold for a while...needless to say my tail lights do not look how I want them to...is there any way to remove the already dry tinting spray? I tried mequire's plastix to see if it would help, but i am still not happy...paint thinner hasnt really worked much either...does anyone have any better ideas? or am i going to have to shell out the $$$$$$ for a new set of tail lights? HPTDoh
I redid my corners like 6 times trying to get them right. Granted, I used some other type of spray; but nail polish remover worked real well for starting over

Just wait for them to dry all the way and sand them with like 1000 gritlol wagonboy is lucky he lives in florida in the nice sunny weather...the rest of us cant be so lucky ... I tinted the tail lights on my s70 and they came out great, so it was the paints fault for being cold, but only happened because of a stupid impatient decision i made. tried 1000 grit already chuck...there was major drippage and stuff, i feel like an idiot for not thinking "use the paint thinner NOW Adam, use it now!"I redid my corners like 6 times trying to get them right. Granted, I used some other type of spray; but nail polish remover worked real well for starting overwhen you say you "redid" them, do you mean you let them dry, didnt like them and then used nail polish remover? if so i will buy some and try it! exexpat
I use Goof Off for this when I sell almost every car I own - even after the VHT has been on for years.

Use 1000 and work to 2000. Then buff.
