S60RDUDE
I have a 1999 N/A 97k miles on it did plugs coil packs look 100% fine there are no visible tears in the boot or any of that but when I accelerate the car it sputters like there is a spark problem. It was throwing an ODB II Code of cylinder 3 misfire but has stopped that and now just sputters. I know there is an ETM recall on the throttle body (electronic) and that is getting done this morning. Could it be a bad coil? I tried to move cylinder 3 coil to cylinder 4 (unplugged and swapped wires) however and get it to throw a misfire code again but it will not throw the code just sputters like hell. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I just put new coil packs on Saturday morning and all the misses are gone.

S60RDUDE
Not that anyone cares about this thread but the problem was the bosch platinum plugs. I put in volvo OEM plugs works like a champ.

I put in volvo OEM plugs works like a champ. There is a whole other thread about plugs I read last week and it basically said to only use oem Volvo plugs because the gap is exactly correct. Many people poopooed the platinum saying they were a waste of money . Hope that keeps your problems away since it is way cheaper than coil packs. I lucked out because we used to mod VW's and have an account at the local NAPA and the manager is a friend so I got mine for 37.78 each (funny they were Volvo made and put in a NAPA box) , the cheapest I had found them was 49 each from Groton I think.
