gdizzle
Cool, 90* piece of steel bolted to the cam cover or am I way off? Feel like making a couple more?it's just a couple pieces of architectural angle w/ some holes drilled in it. You can get it at any hardware store. On one side I have it drilled for the head bolts and the other side I have it drilled for the plug cover bolts. I made them last year when I pulled the trans. Johann
Why?They are already on the engine. One you can see in the picture in the PS bracket, the other is in the bracket holding the top engine mount.

Because that's how I roll. In it's current state, the center of gravity is too far off to use the one on the PS bracket. Also, when you pull the trans, you have to support the engine from equal lateral positions, the hole on the PS bracket is good for nothing but pulling the motor. Johann
Used the Volvo engine bar for pulling the gearbox. It uses two connections which go in to the plug holes...

The powdercoating looks great, keep the pix and updates coming.I'd be a lot further if I had a dealer near by... Closest dealer is an hour away, and two hours away from where I work. So I have to keep ordering items. Lost a flywheel bolt so I'm stalled until I get another one. They're an odd size too, like m11x1.25.
