Che'_Moderator Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 The last few months I have had the free time to finally site down and look over the site, the members, and their need for growth. At this point the server and site are self supporting and the multiple revenue systems in place are paying for the server, software, raffles, and misc items of cars shows and such. So with that I feel that you guys are well served and I have done my job as an admin of offering you logistical support as a community. So the next step now that we have infrastructure is to grow and better the community. With that I am drafting plans to offer a modest incentive program. Something like:20-50 dollars each month to the person with the most quality posts20-50 dollars each month to the best new member20-50 dollars each month to to the person who pisses me off the least For this to work I need to first make sure the moderators are willing to deal with some of the added headaches this will no doubt bring us. Along with that ways to limit the field in th subjective areas each month before passing on the information to you to vote. At this stage all ideas are fluid and some form of beta testing will take place before we put anything in stone. I am posting this information as a heads up and a way of keeping everyone more directly in the loop now that I have the time to better answer any questions. Also with this I hope to see vendors and larger companies step up and help support you guys raffles and such. Right not the plan is not to take on any "sponsors" that would limit how th site is run. We have been approached but so far no sponsor has felt strongly enough to allow freedom of speech towards them and their products.
