Slonik
Well, after this R pretty much ATE the front tires (Michelin MXV4 Plus) I put Pilot Sports all around and, well, I don't want it to eat these. Would realigning the front to all factory spec but with -1 degree camber help? Car is bone stock with 55k miles.
steve s
is it off? u may get some funky feathering if u toe-in and caster are off. unless u go crazy, camber would more likely affect how badly u eat up the outside edges given how these cars like to understeer...the last few tires in the pilot sport category i tried last only about 10k (if not less) on the front if u don't rotate.. granted, it's on fwd and not like ur awd.. Johann
Stock alignment with a -0.3 to -0.5 camber should be OK.

blkaplan
If you are wearing the outside edge quickly, add more negative camber. I run -2.5 on my street car to keep my tires from eating the shoulders
towerymt
What part was "eaten" the most? Too much toe-in, or agressive driving with minimal negative camber (or positive) can wear the outside edges. Too much toe-out can quickly kill the inside edges. Rapid edge wear on both edges or rapid center wear would likely indicate improper tire pressure. If the tread blocks wear unevenly across the individual block of tread (feathered edges), it's probably a suspension/steering wear issue.
