matt b
it wasn't first, it was reverse on cold start. No synchros in reverse is probably the cause. Thanks Greg. That makes me feel better about using used (but clean and lubed) cables for my car rather than $300 worth of new cables.
ViperVette
oh..... that probably costs less then a 30-rack now a days. haha.I'd be down if the price is comprable or less then the EST one. If not I'll just remain in the world of long shifting I suppose. EST is def. a no go though after all its problems. :(

Hmm, so if mine isn't cheaper then the EST you won't buy even if it is 1k times better? Not that it'll be more or less, I just think it's funny. ViperVette
Comparable, not equal.I'm not going to spend 500$ on a short-shift kit. However, if it is comperable, maybe under 300 I'd pick one up. I'd need to see the gains and then decide if its actually worth how much your asking.

stick70
The kit will require the use of a drill and possibly a pop rivet gun. Everyone ok w/ that?! If everyone is ok w/ this, I'll work on getting these out w/ in the next few months. I've got over a year of testing done on mine w/ no issues. Love it. The kit will also include brass shifter bushings for the shift cables. I'll have to work up a price too.o noes!!!! I usualy get a bit drill happy, but it gets done rightHope this kit comes through, keep us updated
Yellow95
It's called sarcasm Gary.I caught it. I was giving it back. I wanted to come up with a more scientific term to be a smartass, but "parameters" is all my tiny little brain could come up with.Gary
