Mike H.
I refinshed the calipers myselfRaf - Painted or powercoated? If painted, what kind? Do you have to rebuild the calipers when refinishing or can you just tape them off?Nevermind, read a few pages back that you you were going to powdercoat them. Would you be willing to help a fellow member out and blast a caliper?

Carbon_R
After I installed the tranny, I noticed that the RPM sensor wasn't flush with the manual tranny but it was with the auto.I looked at the gap between the auto flywheel and manual fywheel and they seem the same to my eyes. Can you guys check to see if you have a small gap like this on your car, everything lines up properly. I was thinking maybe this is the issue some people encounter with failed starts or hard starting issues? And I painted the subframe black Any thoughts on this subject?Raf

Carbon_R
What did you have to do to your ecu to switch the trannys out??I have a 034 stand alone, the Ecu controls jack on my car, only a few inputs that are shared, RPM sensor, idle air control valve for cold starts and H2O temp sensor Raf

Doesn't the 034 have control of the motor for cold starts?
prasamin
mine had a gap, and the car wouldn't start.....Aaron figured it out, and made it flush, set it down a little lower, and we were GTG.It's not supposed to be at an angle like that, that'll throw the reading off.
