BlackT5
Now i'm really confused. The stock ecu controls the idle air valve at all times? it must be getting fed more signals than just rpm?i'll go back in the thread and look at the wiring diagram you posted to see if that helps me makes sense of how they wired that thing.edit: Since you're now using the older flywheel, you might have to reverse the crank sensor wires. prasamin
Yes it does Mark but the stock ECU does a fine job at it, so why mess with it.I have the connector for the 034 there, just not being used, I will address this prior to tuning.RafThanks Pras, I will check it out if it doesn't fire up.by the way, Denny wants to chat with you in regards to your motor.Do you still have it?RafI thought that mofo gave up on shitty volvos....either way, have him talk to Aaron, it's at the shop. I need to unload that bitch immediately. I need to buy an ATV.

Carbon_R
Hello,All you did to this car is very nice and also the pictures are interesting.I am myself an owner of 850RCould you please post the details of the parts you used? references and stuff ? like the sizes of rods at http://www.cunninghamrods.com/ what exactly did you order ? because they are made on mesures if i am correct.MaxThanks,Cunningham has the measurements for our rods, all you have to do is call and place the order, is that easy, unless you want a longer rod. Remember you are paying for a custom piece, now its the time to modify the rods and just compensate height with the pistons, stock rod is 139mm IIRC. Cunningham can get you CP pistons to match.I'll have to look at my paper work from them with all the measurements.Update; The car fired up with no major issues, no clutch chatter yet, SPEC clutch has an awesome bite kinda a medium to heavy feel to the pedal. After a nice soap wash I went for a ride today and kept RPM's below 4K until I break the clutch in, reverse ligths work and the tranny shifts like butta No upshift arrow light or that dreaded auto tranny code, just the normal CEL codes for the 034 ECU. I'll go for another cruise tomorrow and I'll take a few pics.out for now. Thanks for the fellas that gave me input for the swap, you know who U are KW ride is stiff,a bit bouncy when new, once they settle, its all good Raf

NGB
I have a quick question for you...im looking to get some suspension for my car...The KW's are progressive right? How do they ride?Unless you know what you're doing and expect the ride that comes along with coilovers you probably won't be happy going from stock suspension to coilovers. They are meant to make the car HANDLE....not give you a comfy ride. If you want the car a little lower and still want a nice ride I'd go with new springs...plus they are a lot cheaperI am not saying that coilovers aren't worth the money, but they serve a different purpose, that's all.
